Sims signs with Hornets

Erie BayHawks star Henry Sims has signed with the New Orleans Hornets. Sims, a 6-10 center from Georgetown, started all 36 games with the BayHawks this season. He averaged 17.1 points, 9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game and was named a D-League all-star. –Tom Reisenweber

Mad Ants win 7th straight, blast BayHawks 112-84

The Fort Wayne extended its winning streak to seven games after beating the Erie BayHawks 112-84, Saturday night at Erie Insurance Arena. Anthony Richardson scored a game-high 30 points in leading the Mad Ants (10-10), who have the longest current D-League winning streak. Erie (10-7) is now 1-2 against Fort Wayne.
